Usually when you think make-up remover it’s either in the form of a liquid, lotion, or maybe a disposable towelette. But Colorescience Pro went in a different direction with its dry powder cleanser.

The Illuminating Cleanser ($37.50) from Colorescience Pro is formulated to remove makeup. According to the company, the convenient formula becomes a “liquid laser” lather with the addition of water. It is also formulated to be both anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial, free of artificial preservatives, SLS and artificial colors. Ingredients include: Coconut Oil Extract, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide and Salicylic Acid.

So, how does it work? Simply pour a dime size amount of Illuminating Cleanser in the palm of hand. Slowly add water to desired consistency. Activate cleanser by rubbing hands together to form a light lather, then gently massage directly over wet face in light, circular motions. Colorescience Pro is available at day spas, resorts, dermatologist and plastic surgeon offices and makeup artists’ studios. For more information visit: www.colorescience.com.
